Should you choose an online or offline Forex course? This will largely depend on your personal circumstances and preferences.
A lot of people are happy with the online course that allows them to log on and do their training at their own convenience. These people will need to be disciplined and also make sure they have the time within their lifestyle to dedicate to their training. You should be prepared to put sufficient time into your trading. Whilst many Forex courses keep their training as simple as possible, there are some detailed concepts that you will need to learn through training and ongoing application. The danger is you only do a little trading here and there and suddenly you’re forgetting things and having to re-learn them which often doesn’t happen so your trading starts to slip. So if you’re going to do an online Forex training course, make sure you are disciplined to schedule enough time on a regular basis to dedicate to your training.
For people that find this difficult to do then the offline course is often a more suitable alternative. These are usually classroom based sessions where you are taught the course in the company of 10 or 12 other students, however some course providers will provide dedicated one to one training although obviously this will be more expensive.
There are plenty of Forex course providers that offer classroom based training, but make sure when choosing one, that they offer the ongoing support after the training sessions. This is for two reasons, firstly it gives you confidence that their course will be a high quality (otherwise they wouldn’t want to retain you) and secondly simply because you will need ongoing support. You can’t learn everything you need to do from a classroom session no matter how detailed it is, you will always need ongoing support to help you apply the concepts and develop your trading successfully.
